PREMIERING TODAY
OCTOBER 11TH 2024
NATIONAL COMING OUT DAY

Movies and film have the power to connect us as a community; to share our sorrows and our victories.  Coming out, however we define it can bring us together.  And we want to share some visions of what it can mean to you.

We've gathered film makers from all over the world to share their visions of what coming out means to them.

There is no one way of coming out, or how you express your gender and/or sexuality.  Each person who comes out follows their own unique path.  Get ready to explore coming out from some amazing film makers!  Enjoy the journey!

On to the films!

"Don't come out unless you want to.  Don't come out for anyone
else's sake.  Don't come out because you think society expects
you to. Come out for yourself.  Come out to yourself.  Shout, sing
it.  Softy stutter it.  Correct those who say they knew before you did.  That's not how sexuality works, it's yours to define."

- Dean Atta

Coming out is never the same twice, each person experiences it differently, at different times of their lives, and with different people they share themselves with.  It can be heart warming, it can be a comedy of errors, it can be scary, it can be heart breaking, but they are events that can shape our lives.  Each story deserves to be told and we’re so glad you’re here with us on this journey.
